Welcome to FiberOne Broadband. Following our plan to serve you better, we have added some devices to our services to cater to your needs for uninterrupted internet access. These devices are categorized under our Value-Added Service- “VAS” features. By purchasing any of our advertised devices, you consent to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
“Service” refers to the internet services provided by FiberOne Broadband.
“Customer” refers to any individual or entity that purchases any of our device(s).
“Device” refers to any device advertised by FiberOne Broadband for purchase.
Purchases are to be made via our website specifying quantity and how the customer intends to get the purchased device.
Refunds are provided at our discretion.
Customers agree to use the device purchased in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations. Any misuse of the device can damage the device at the instance of the Customer.
Customers are responsible for the proper use and care of any device provided. Damages caused by misuse or negligence may result in additional charges. Customers are advised to visit www.fob.ng for the contents of our Acceptable Use Policy to serve as a further guide on the level of skill and care expected when using any of the devices purchased.
We collect and use customer information per our Privacy Policy, which is available on www.fob.ng.
We are committed to protecting the privacy and confidentiality of our customers. We will not disclose any personal information without the customer’s consent unless required by law.
Customers can pick up purchased devices from our designated locations closest to you. Customers also have the option to send their designated courier to pick up the device purchased from any of our designated locations.
We offer delivery of these devices to your specified address. Delivery charges apply and will be communicated during the payment process. Delivery takes between 2 to 5 working days.
Customers can only purchase our device through our official website. Payments made through unauthorized channels shall not be recognized or reimbursed to the customer.
We accept various payment channels, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers via specified payment gateway on our website. Payment details will be provided during the payment process.
Every payment made for a device shall carry the current Tax value as stipulated by Law.
The battery pack unit provided by FiberOne Broadband is intended to be used as a power bank-type device, not a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply). Any damages resulting from misuse of this device will not transfer liability to FiberOne Broadband. The Customer shall bear the cost to replace the device or repair it.
The Wi-fi Extender purchased from FiberOne Broadband is intended to be used as a Wi-fi booster and can extend Wi-fi coverage within a limited space. Any damages as a result of the Customer's negligence or misuse shall not transfer liability to FiberOne Broadband.
Customers agree not to use the Device in a manner that may impair the device, cause damage, or reduce its performance.
Customers are informed that the device(s) have a month warranty from the date of purchase.
FiberOne Broadband reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions.
Notwithstanding any provisions to the contrary in this Agreement, neither Party to this Agreement shall do nor suffer to be done any act or thing as shall be capable of defeating the legitimate and or reasonable expectation of its counter Party according to this Agreement.
The provisions of the terms and conditions shall be governed, interpreted, and implemented under the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Any dispute arising from the terms and conditions contained herein or its interpretation, the parties shall negotiate in good faith to settle the matter amicably.
Where negotiation fails, the Parties shall refer the matter to the Lagos Multi-Door Court House, Lagos for mediation PROVIDED each Party bears its own cost inclusive of attorneys’ fees.
Where the dispute is not resolved within 20 days after service of the mediation notice or either party fails to participate or ceases to participate in the mediation before the expiry of those 20 days, the dispute shall finally be resolved by a court of competent jurisdiction within the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Parties shall bear their costs inclusive of attorney fees.
