To strengthen its corporate governance structure, fibre broadband provider, FiberOne Broadband, has appointed Ibrahim Dikko as new board chairman.

In a statement, the company also announced fresh directors into the board. They are Tosin Osunkoya and Ayaba Modupe Ayo-Joseph.
The statement explained that Dikko, is a telecommunications expert with keen interest in governance and regulatory compliance.
He had been Vice President, Regulatory and Corporate Affairs at Etisalat Nigeria (now 9mobile), Executive Director, Resourcery Plc and Chairman at First Securities Discount House for 10 years. He owns Hitel Limited.
Dikko is a member of the Institute of Directors and a registered professional with the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria. He studied Law at University of Buckingham and University of London, both in the United Kingdom.
Osunkoya is a global financial market specialist with diverse knowledge and skills in global financial instruments besides identifying and exploiting investment opportunities for portfolio companies and creating wealth. In the last two decades, he has dedicated his skills, knowledge and experience to creating wealth for investors in global financial instruments.
As a serial entrepreneur and venture capitalist, Osunkoya leverages his unique skills in investment management and wealth creation to unlock the potential of human capital in Africa. He is a co-founder of multiple startups, including Enov8 Solutions and its tech hub, The Bulb Africa.
Ayo-Joseph, on the other hand, is a consummate private wealth consultant. And respected banker, who has served in a number of senior executive management positions.
An ethical board level professional and transformational leader with 26 years of banking experience, she was appointed Executive Director of Bank PHB by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and was part of the management team that ensured the financial institution remained a going concern, paving the way for its eventual bridging, recapitalisation and sale.
In his remarks, the broadband firm’s CEO, Lanre Ore, noted: “We are delighted to welcome Messrs. Dikko, Osunkoya and Ayo-Joseph at this exciting time of growth for FiberOne. I have not enjoy the services, the Internet has been down, I have sent mail and up till now , nothing has been done about it, please can someone look into this for me , am so so angry about it and this is making me to rethink I may not renew for the next month.

It’s so evident that you guys have a disjointed team not communicating,
I have escalated severally through CCC, WhatsApp, calls, Onboarding team, even with the so called engineer that came for inspection or site viewing last 2 weeks and nothing is coming forth.
I wonder what the growth strategy of the organization and the values that drives it,
There are missing links across the organization and I hope you guys finds it quickly before everything start nosediving.

Good Morning FOB Team, I requested a new connection 1 month back and paid N68,540 as I changed my location along the road. the team came to check my place and confirmed that a new connection was possible.
Post that Fiberone team came to my place for the installation, but due to the unavailability of a power cable/box he couldn’t install it. he said a project team would come and do it for me.
it’s been more than a month no nobody has given me any resolution, and I am tired of following up on installation. I wrote at least 20 emails to the below id but I got standard reply

What is wrong with Fibreone? Till now no one has come to fix the router you gave me. when you needed me to make my installation and subscription payment, you were all over me. I paid immediately and I have not used the internet 5 days after your so-called installation. Your services are terrible. Your customer service will transfer me to a team and cut the phone. Maybe you don’t know who you are dealing with. I am highly disappointed. I regret purchasing your router. Your router came with a bad adapter I had to use my own adapter to power it. Your router came without a power bank, I had to use my power bank to serve when there is power outage. Zero recommendation to you guys. I exercised patience in futility. You lie alot. Your customer service rep said I would be on top priority on Friday, no one showed up on Friday, same today no one has shown up. I would push your name on social media let people know how terrible your services are. Messed up. Come and collect your terrible device. And refund my money if you dont know what you are doing.
